Thought I would come and and say hello at this hour as I cannot sleep.
I was diagnosed with womb cancer yesterday and have yet to absorb any of what is actually happening.
I've been told that as I am young, 40, not overweight etc is all in my favour..but then I also know that the big C doesn't give a hoot what you are sometimes.
I am sure there are many of you that probably feel the same or did...numb, denial and racing thoughts.
I have already joined a group on here to be cancer specific but I thought I would say Hi to anyone feeling the same here.

Hi and welcome to the Online Community, a Community that no one ever really plans to see themselves joining, and so sorry to hear about your Womb Cancer diagnosis.
A cancer diagnosis brings a lot of confusion, stress and many questions with the noise between your ears being deafening at times but once you know more details and a plan is put in place things will start to calm down.
Talking with other people who are on the same type of journey helps a lot.
I had a totally different type of cancer but the Community has various support groups and I see you have joined our Womb (uterus) cancer group.
This is the place where you will connect with others walking the treatment journey both as a patient or family.
.Its always good to talk and the Macmillan Support Services provides lots of information, support or just a listing ear.
The service is open every day 8am to 8pm and it's free to call on 0808 808 00 00 have a look by Clicking here for more information.
You can also email them, use the online chat and we also have our Ask an Expert section, but do allow two working days for replies from our expert team.
Our Online Information and Support Section is a good place to find information covering diagnosis, treatments and pages covering most types of cancers.
All the very best.
Thanks Thehighlander.
Today I feel like I am on a emotional rollercoaster and the extreme tiredness has hit me hard. I can only assume that the last day is just starting to resonate now.
I have been on my cancer journey for over 21 years now and one of the main things I came to realise early on was a cancer journey was a battle of both the Body and the Mind - Leave the Body to your Medics and You deal with the battle in the Mind.
All the best.
Whatever cancer throws your way, we’re right there with you.
We’re here to provide physical, financial and emotional support.
