Hi I was diagnosed with breast cancer 2 weeks ago, I am having the chemotherapy first then surgery, they have asked me if I would like to use the cold cap, but I get really bad headaches to start with so really don’t think I can use the cap, just wondering if eveeyone looses their hair, I know it’s a stupid question and it should be the last thing I should be worrying about, I am just so scared about everything I have 2 daughters and they have been fantastic since my diagnosis, I also have crones disease which means I will have flare ups as well as the side affects from the chemotherapy as my crones treatment has stopped.

Hi, new to the group too. My hair did not fall out, I didn’t use the cold cap. My hair did thin out and there were parts where it was more obvious. After round five it did start to grow again, and the baldy parts have new growth. People react differently, i was adamant that i was not having a wig and got scarves instead. But ended up ditching them, as i got too hot with them, but kept them in case.
Whatever cancer throws your way, we’re right there with you.
We’re here to provide physical, financial and emotional support.
