I was diagnosed with DCIS grade 3 earlier this year and had 2 breast conserving operations in order to obtain clear margins. I was due to have radiotherapy after healing but was told in March that I would be unable to have the treatment because of Covid. I asked when I would be offered it again but was told that this would not happen because the treatment needed to be completed within a certain period of time.

7 months on I am now starting to worry about the DCIS returning as it was Grade 3 and wondering how likely it is and how quickly

I'm in this situation. Advised against radiotherapy due to Covid. I'm left to decide whether to go for it or not. How are you? R
