Many thanks for having me here.
I’m sorry as I know this isn’t the right place but I can’’t find another.
I joined yesterday and my username is BikePiglet. Today I somehow don’t have permission to thank Audrey in Ask a Nurse for the information she provided to me. I just keep getting a message that I don’t have the necessary permissions. I’ve tried for an hour and given up :( If an Admin sees this then please thank Audrey for me - I hate to think she might imagine I couldn’t be bothered to thank her.
If it’s possible for an Admin to help me with why it seems I can’t post there then I’d be very grateful but no hurry - I know you’re busy.
Thanks, BikePiglet
Hi BikePiglet
To reply to Audrey's response to your question you should see a “reply” button underneath their post, which looks like this:
You can then click on “reply” which will bring up a text box, where you can write your response and click “reply” to post your message.
If this isn’t visible and you don’t have an option to post a reply, please could you send a screenshot or picture of what you see to community@macmillan.org.uk. This will help resolve your issue as soon as possible.

Hi, and thanks. Yes, that's what I tried to do, several times, but each time I clicked on Reply for the second time (i.e. to post what I'd written) I received a message telling me I didn't have the necessary authority to post there. Not to worry. I've been able to post in other places - just not in reply to Audrey.
Hi BikePiglet
The only thing I can think of, other than a technical glitch, that would stop you replying would be if you weren't logged on to the community at the time you were trying to reply. The ask an expert section of the site only allows the original poster to respond and, if you weren't logged on, it wouldn't know you were the OP.
If you were logged on, could you contact the Community team by emailing them at community@macmillan.org.uk to tell them about your problem please. It helps if you can provide as much information as possible, eg.
This is because the site has recently had a makeover and there are some technical issues still needing to be ironed out.

Hi again,
I'm just letting you know, in case it is a system glitch, that although I can (obviously!) reply here I still get the error message when I try to reply to Audrey. I hope I can post a picture of it below. Again, though, please don't spend time on this if it is only affecting me. It isn't affecting my ability to post or reply anywhere else on the site.
It occurs to me now, BTW, that it may not actually be possible for anyone to post in reply to the Nurses' advice, as looking through that part of the site I see only one reply in relation to questions. I'm sure I'm not the only one who wanted to say thanks, so perhaps it's just a way of keeping the postings there under control as the nurses are so incredibly busy.
Hi BikePiglet
Can you post your message above to the email address I gave you as that will then go to the Community Team.
Thanks
