Hi  I am new to this forum and I would like to wish everyone well.

I was diagnosed with advanced prostate cancer Nov 19.  I have had first round of chemotherapy and then onto Degarelix and Biclutimide.  My PSA has risen as follows from May to September:

6, 5.9, 8.6 and finally 25.9.  My Oncologist has said that this is an upward trend and that the current treatment has stopped working.

I now have choices, as I have been given no advice as everyone will react to treatment in a different manner.

Further Chemo

Enzalutamide

Aberaterone and Prednisolone.

I am tempted to take Aberaterone but I am concerned about weight gain and getting a moon face.  My Prednisolone would be 5mg twice a day.

Is there anyone who can help me make this decision on the next step.  I am being truthful when I have stated that my Oncologist is giving me no advice despite requests from me.

Thanks  Martin
