My mum was diagnosed with breast cancer a few years ago - and found out last year that it's subsequently spread to her bones.
Since her diagnosis she feels like she's just been put to one side by the hospital now she's not a 'straight-forward' case - her nurse never returns her calls and she's left feeling alone - she feels she has no one to talk to who has first-hand experience of what living with cancer is like or, someone from the medical side of things who can ease her concerns.
She's been trying to find a way to volunteer for a cancer charity or support group so she can try and help other people who feel that, like her, there is no one to talk to who 'gets it'. However the one charity near where we live has told her she can't volunteer as it's against their risk assessment seeing as she is still undergoing treatment (this was prior to the pandemic).
She feels like there's nothing she can do to help other people in her situation from experiencing the loneliness she has, at times, felt during her diagnosis and treatment.
Are there any charities or support groups anyone knows of which I could suggest to her? One's which are targeted at people living with cancer?
Any suggestions welcome.

I'm sorry to read that your mum was diagnosed with breast cancer and that she feels that she has no one to talk to. However, it's great that she wants to try and support others going through the same diagnosis.
My first thought is that you could suggest that she joins this community. She could then join the breast cancer group, where she'd find people who have completed their treatment, are still undergoing treatment or who have just been diagnosed. Your mum could then use her experiences to help others.
