Hi all,
Our world has been shattered, I have just been diagnosed with cancer the size of a 2p coin in my left lung and small nodules in my right. I have had no symptoms except a pain in my left side. this has turned out to be fluid on my lung. I am still fit and well.
On testing they have found a mutation in the cells which means I qualify for target drugs, which I will start at the end of this week.
I realise this is all new and hard to take in, but I am devastated by this and can help thinking the worst.
Any one out there like me???
Hi and welcome to the community, although this is probably the last place you would want to be. You are certainly not alone. Many of us will know the fear and anxiety of any cancer diagnosis. Could I point you to the Lung Group . There you will find others with experience of your particular cancer, and will be able to help and support you through this. If you click the link, this will take you to the group. There you can introduce yourself with a bit of background, and I am sure you will get some great advice there. Any problems navigating the site, then click on the reply button below to ask. Best wishes.
