Hi At the begining of August I was diagnosed with B Cell Non Hodgkin Lymphoma it's at Stage 1a but it's a rare one as it's in the ankle of my lower right leg. Had 1 round of 6 started R-CHOP felt very rough the first few days. Also having injections into my stomach which on the next to last day seemed to give me muscle spasms. Also I been advised that they will be giving me a PICC line as I've had chemotherapy before and my veins are not too good. I can only have treatment in one arm as I have had a mastectomy and lymph nodes removed.
Can anyone give advice on the PICC line?
Hi and welcome to the Online Community, although I am so sorry to see you finding us and so sorry to hear about your NHL diagnosis.
I was diagnosed way back in 1999 with another rare type of T-Cell NHL so understand the stress and many questions but I found talking with other people who are on the same type of journey helped a lot.
The Community is organised into various support groups so can I first direct you to our Diffuse large B-cell lymphoma group as this will connect you with people walking the treatment journey.
Follow the link I've created above then choose ‘click to join' on the page that opens.

I had a PICC Line in for my main treatment and had no problems with it and saved my arms being continually jabbed. It o my took 30mins from start to finish to get it in.
