I had a mastectomy and Diep flap reconstruction 4 weeks ago and will be having three weeks of radiotherapy soon. I was diagnosed in June last year and had 6 months of chemo before surgery in February again in March and finally in July. I just can’t face going back to teaching... thinking about it makes me tearful even though I only teach three days a week...

I'm sorry to hear how you're feeling but I think most people who have had time off work because of a cancer diagnosis will have worried about going back to work at some stage or another.
As the community is divided up into groups so I'm going to recommend that you join the Breast cancer forum (link) where you'll be able to talk to others who will understand how you're feeling.
To join just click on the link I've created and then choose 'click to join' on the page that opens. You can then introduce yourself and post questions after selecting '+New' or '+' (depending on the type of device you're using) and join in with existing conversations by clicking on 'reply'.
When you have a minute, it would be really useful if you could pop something about your journey so far into your profile as it really helps others when answering or looking for someone with a similar diagnosis. It also means that you don't have to keep repeating yourself. To do this click on your username and then select 'Profile'. You can amend it at any time and if you're not sure what to write you can take a look at mine by clicking on my username.
