Hi .
I was diagnosed with BC in May , doc said it was an unusual one (?) it wasn’t hormonal , and negative for Her2 . No one mentioned triple negative but I guess that’s probably what it is ( yes I need to ask The doc the question) I’ve had 3 lots of Fec chemo and due my first of T . Should be 3 of them but doc says I may only need 1 as I’ve had horrid side effects and already the tumour has shrunk , I can’t feel it anymore and neither can the doc which is great news.
Anyway, I’m Mostly positive about it all But find I get a bit down when I forget things and I get weepy for the slightest thing . I guess this is normal .

Hi Jen4 and a very warm welcome to the online community
I'm very sorry to read that you've just been diagnosed with breast cancer and, although I didn't have the same type of cancer as you, I completely understand what a difficult time this will be for you.
The community is divided up into groups so I'm going to recommend that you join the Breast cancer forum (link) where you can ask questions, share experiences and get support from others who have this type of cancer.
To join just click on the link I've created and then choose 'click to join' on the page that opens. You can then introduce yourself and post questions after selecting '+New' or '+' (depending on the type of device you're using) and join in with existing conversations by clicking on 'reply'.
When you have a minute, it would be really useful if you could pop something about your journey so far into your profile as it really helps others when answering or looking for someone with a similar diagnosis. It also means that you don't have to keep repeating yourself. To do this click on your username and then select 'Profile'. You can amend it at any time and if you're not sure what to write you can take a look at mine by clicking on my username.
Sending a ((hug))
Hi , many thanks for your reply. I thought I had written a bit on my profile but it seems not to be there (?) I pressed send then nothing . I thought it may need approval or something .
when I clicked on the breast cancer link it said I had already joined !
maybe I need to get more tech savvy !
Ill have a look again and add something . It works .
thanks again .
HI Jen4
I've had another look at your profile and groups and there's definitely nothing in your profile and you haven't yet joined the breast cancer group.
If you try again and still get the same problem, let me know and I'll escalate it to the admin team.
