Have been told I have breast cancer in my left breast and a problem with 2 to 3 of my lymph nodes. Would like to hear from others who have the same story.

Invasive Ductal breast cancer

  • Hi  and a very warm welcome to the online community

I'm sorry to hear that you've recently been diagnosed with breast cancer and it's natural that you'd want to talk to others in a similar position.

I can see that you've already found and joined the Breast cancer forum and I'm sure if you post there the members of that group will be happy to share their experiences with you.

To go to the group just click on the link I've created where you can then introduce yourself and post questions after selecting '+New' and join in with existing conversations by clicking on 'reply'.

When you have a minute, it would be really useful if you could pop something about your journey so far into your profile as it really helps others when answering or looking for someone with a similar diagnosis. It also means that you don't have to keep repeating yourself. To do this click on your username and then select 'Profile'. You can amend it at any time and if you're not sure what to write you can take a look at mine by clicking on my username.

would like to hear from others who have just had a breast cancer diagnosis

  • Hi

I'm sure the members of the Breast cancer forum (link), which I can see you've joined, will be only to happy to share their experiences with you if you start a post in that group.

The quickest way to get back there is to click on the link in the sentence above. You can then start a new post by selecting '+New' or '+' (depending on the device you're using) and join in with existing conversations by clicking on 'reply'.
