Hi I was diagnosed with endometrial cancer two days ago I am feeling a bit overwhelmed by everything I just to be able to think again soon
Hi and a very warm welcome to the online community
I recognise that feeling of being overwhelmed from when I was diagnosed with cancer nearly 4 years ago now. However, you've done the right thing reaching out to this community for support.
The community is divided up into groups, so I'm going to recommend that you join the womb cancer group where you can ask questions, share experiences and get support from others who will understand exactly what you're going through.
To join just click on the link I've created and then choose 'join this group' on the page that opens. You can then introduce yourself and post questions after selecting 'start a discussion' and join in with existing conversations by clicking on 'reply'.
When you have a minute, it would be really useful if you could pop something about your journey so far into your profile as it really helps others when answering or looking for someone with a similar diagnosis. It also means that you don't have to keep repeating yourself. To do this click on your username and then select 'Edit Profile'. You can amend it at any time and if you're not sure what to write you can take a look at mine by clicking on my username.
Sending a supportive ((hug))
Morning Debbie-C
Welcome! l'm relatively new to being part of an online community myself and regret not finding my way round the site when l first had my diagnosis. As having joined after my hysterectomy l have had so much support here.
We will be with you every step of the way. You can read my profile and see that l had womb cancer back in March. l'm now halfway through chemo and feeling really well.
I wish you well with your treatment and subsequent recovery x
Hi Debbie once you join the womb cancer group you will see that advice about what to expect will be extremely useful. As l said l didnt join until l was a few weeks post op.
The forum is full of the loveliest ladies to advise and help you. lt took me a few weeks to get comfortable after the op but it was anywhere near as bad as l feared it would be.
lm sure you'll be fine too x
