Hi all, my mum has just been told her breast cancer has now spread to her liver. It’s already in her lungs and bones. Having trouble finding something to help get some appetite back. Breaking my heart watching her suffer and feeling poorly. What can I do please?

I'm very sorry to read that your mum has recently discovered that her breast cancer has spread to her liver. This must be an incredibly hard time for the whole family.
As the community is divided up into groups, I'm going to recommend that you join the secondary breast cancer group as this will give you the opportunity to ask questions, share experiences and get support from others with a similar diagnosis to your mum.
Another group which I think you might benefit from joining is the family and friends group, which is a safe and supportive place to share your worries with others who understand what it's like to have a loved one living with cancer.
To join either or both of these groups just click on the links I've created and then choose 'join this group' on the pages that open. You can then introduce yourself and post questions after selecting 'start a discussion' and join in with existing conversations by clicking on 'reply'.
When you have a minute, it would be really useful if you could pop something about your mum's journey so far into your profile as it really helps others when answering or looking for someone with a similar diagnosis. It also means that you don't have to keep repeating yourself. To do this click on your username and then select 'Edit Profile'. You can amend it at any time and if you're not sure what to write you can take a look at mine by clicking on my username.
