Hello, I am new to this website. I have been diagnosed in December 2019 with metastatic melanoma of unknown primary. Did 3 courses of immunotherapy but the cancer progresed. Starting chemo this week to try and keep the cancer at bay for a while and TIL therapy hopefully in July. It would be great to be able to liaise with people that are going through a similar experience. Thank you. Rprin

    Morning

Warm welcome to the Mac Community, although sorry to read about your Melanoma / CUP and seeing you joining us here :-/

There is an active Melanoma Group (link) you could check out and join to get into contact with other Melanoma members.

I will 'tag'  and also  who are both Community Champs for the Melanoma Group and will hopefully either reply here or in the Melanoma Group if you join and post and introductory message there.

Hope this is of some help for the moment, I'm not experienced with melanoma but couldn't read your message and run Thumbsup

    Best Wishes, G n' J

Hello , a second welcome from me, I’m usually found in the melanoma group that  mentioned. I also was diagnosed with metastatic melanoma with unknown primary location but back in 2015. I’m sorry you’ve been unlucky with immunotherapy, I’m about to restart Pembrolizumab as I’ve had a few months break from treatment but things appear to be on the move for me at the moment. It will be interesting to hear what treatment you’re going through and perhaps have a bit of light relief too, over a virtual cup of tea maybe !

    Best wishes

  • Hi and another welcome to the online community

I was diagnosed with melanoma in November 2016. Mine was an amelanotic melanoma on my arm. Click on my username if you want to read my history.

I'm glad to see that you've joined the melanoma group as I'm sure you'll get plenty of support from those who are at the same stage as you.

To connect with others in the group you need to click on 'start a discussion', give your post a title and then start typing. You can also join in with existing conversations by clicking on 'reply'.

I'll keep an eye out for you posting there.
