Hi I have a question about chemotherapy following bowel resection I was wondering if anyone had gone on to have successfully completed chemo following an initial bad reaction I had a terrible reaction neuro toxicity and ended up in hospital for 3 weeks and am about to start a new course and am obviously worried the reaction will reacurre any feedback would be great
Hi , I don't think I am in the same league as you re bad reaction, but I did struggle. Look at my profile (save retyping!!) and if I can help please contact me. All the best.
Hi
I'm sorry to read that you had such a bad reaction to chemotherapy and it's natural that you'd be worried when you're about to start a new course.
I can see that you joined the community a couple of months ago but you haven't joined any groups yet. Could I recommend that you join the bowel cancer group as this would give you the chance to put this question to people who have had the same type of cancer as you and who will be able to tell you about their experiences with chemotherapy.
To join just click on the link I've created and then choose 'join this group' on the page that opens. You can then introduce yourself and post questions after selecting 'start a discussion' and join in with existing conversations by clicking on 'reply'.
I hope that this next treatment goes well for you.
