Hi,
Had a cystoscopy yesterday revealing tumours. Devastated. Cant sleep or eat. Feel dreadful. Can anyone say anything reassuring? Please.
Hi CurlySue123 and welcome to the community at what we know must be a very worrying time. Many of us will know the feeling. I am from the Bladder Group and first let me try and reassure you that Bladder Cancer can be treated effectively. It is one of the most common cancers even though few people have heard of it. Rather than me going in to details here of what to expect, can I invite you to join us in the group where you will get support and advice from the many of us who have been through this. Click on the link highlighted above. Join the group and then start a new discussion with where you are up to. I look forward to seeing you there and I will give you some more info when you join us. Best wishes.
Four years ago we were where you are today Mr W had been diagnosed with bc and had had his first cystocopy It felt like our world had ended and life was bleak Fast forward 4 years and 24 bcg treatments later he is fit and well Life is good even in lockdown There have been ups and downs and every check up induces scaniety This site has been a godsend no one judges however stressed your posts and I've been on here in the early hours unable to think straight and not a little tipsy There is light at the end of the tunnel and whatever treatment you need someone will be able to give you advice
Hope this helps
Take care
love
Wilbert xx
