Hi all, new to the community and am looking to see if anyone knows of any resources that help to explain chemotherapy to children? Their Papa has stage 4 cancer and her started chemo, and looking for something to support their understanding, children are aged 6 and 8yrs. Thanks for any support!
Hi and welcome to the online community
Talking to children about cancer can be difficult so hopefully you'll find this booklet helpful. Just click on the photo to read it. You can also order it in paperback form from Macmillan if you rather sit down with a booklet to go through with your children.
I can see that you've already joined a couple of groups and I'm sure that the people there will give you lots of support in the time ahead.
