Hello, I just wanted to reach out. My right femur broke in December, leading to a diagnosis of non-hodgkins lymphoma and I just received my 6th chemo treatment. Still going through the yucky bit but also feeling a lot of emotion and some panic, wondering what comes next and wondering how to move forwards (recently moved back to the UK, newly divorced after living in the US most of my life, rather isolated). Hoping to find some community and share some support..
Hi Stonechat and a very warm welcome to the online community
I'm sorry to read that you've recently been diagnosed with non-Hodgkin lymphoma. That must have been quite a shock to discover when you probably just thought you'd broken your femur.
As the community is broken up into cancer specific groups can I recommend that you join the non-Hodgkin lymphoma group where you can ask questions, share experiences and get support from others with this type of cancer.
To join just click on the link I've created and then choose 'join this group' on the page that opens. You can then introduce yourself and post questions after selecting 'start a discussion' and join in with existing conversations by clicking on 'reply'.
When you have a minute it would be really useful if you could pop something about your journey so far into your profile as it really helps others when answering or looking for someone with a similar diagnosis. It also means that you don't have to keep repeating yourself. To do this click on your username and then select 'Edit Profile'. You can amend it at any time and if you're not sure what to write you can take a look at mine by clicking on my username.

Hi Stonechat and a second welcome, just to add that we do have a number of NHL groups but with over 80 types of NHL we just cover the main types with a few groups and the general group picks up everything else.
General Non Hodgkin's Lymphoma
I was diagnosed with CTCL way back in 1999 and I am still around doing good - so do join the best group, then start a discussion and introduce yourself and we can walk this out together.
I will keep an eye open for you ((hugs))
Thanks very much latchbrook, it's good to be here. I will follow your advice and join the NHL group, and update my profile. I'm looking forward to being a forum member, thank you..
Thanks The Highlander, I read your profile and what a courageous and inspirational you have to tell! Wishing you and yours so very well day by day. Thanks for the advice, I will choose the group that seems the best fit. Good to be on board and see you around the forums!
