Hello everyone. I am new to this forum.
I am in limbo, knowing that my daddy bear has pancreatic cancer, but not knowing yet an estimated timeline or any treatment options. I just, my heart is broken. We are such a close family.
I have moved back home to isolate with dad since he came out of hospital after being diagnosed, leaving my children with my ex husband due to risks of COVID.
I am supporting my mum to care for my dad.
Hi and welome to the online community
I'm really sorry to hear that your dad has been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. It must have come as a terrible shock for the whole family.
I can see that you've joined the pancreatic cancer group which will give you the opportunity to ask questions and share experiences with others who have this type of cancer. When you know what your dad's treatment plan is, I'm sure you'll find the members of that group very helpful.
Another group which you might like to join is the family and friends group as it's a safe and supportive place to share your worries with others who have a loved one dealing with cancer.
To join just click on the link I've created and then choose 'join this group' on the page that opens. You can then introduce yourself and post questions after selecting 'start a discussion' and join in with existing conversations by clicking on 'reply'.
Sending a supportive ((hug))
