I was diagnosed 3 weeks ago with cervical cancer at the age of 37. I'm told I need a full hysterectomy. The thing is I'm a big girl and have been told the instruments used are too small and they have referred me to bariactic surgery before being able to do the hysterectomy. Now I'm terrified that with the covid issues and hospitals on a limited scale and by the time the weight loss surgery is complete the cancer will have gotten worse. Also am I strange as I haven't cried about having the big C yet? My wife and family all have yet I haven't. I have bipolar and struggle a lot with suicidal th
ghts etc, on a good day I'm ready to fight this and on a bad day I think about not having any treatment and hoping it kills me selfish I know you will think.. I just don't know where to turn or who
talk to. Can't get an apt with a GP for over 10days to talk with as it's not classed as an emergency or important.
