Hi everyone! I'm a newbie here. I hope we can all be friends. I had Papillary Thyroid Cancer last year, January 2019. I've undergone surgery and RAI for my treatment. I thought everything will be ok, but few months later, July, there was a swelling on my upper right chest. Lots of tests were done to know what it was. It was devastating to know that I have another kind of cancer. This time, it is Anaplastic Large Cell Lymphoma. My family and friends are always by my side. They give me strength to fight through. I'm undergoing chemotherapy for 7 months already. And for another time, I'm hoping again, hoping that everything will be okay. Don't give up.

  • Hi  and welcome to the Online Community, although I am sorry to see you finding us and so sorry to hear about your Lymphoma diagnosis. Getting a second cancer is not that unusual- but very frustrating.

I have been on my Non Hodgkins Lymphoma journey for over 20 years so can I direct you to our very supportive Non-Hodgkin lymphoma group.

Posting in this group will open up your concerns to a wider group of people who know exactly what you are going through at the moment.

Follow the link I've created, join the group, then hit ‘start a discussion’ and you are ready to go.

You could then copy and paste the information from this first post into your new discussion or you can also join in with existing ‘discussions’ by clicking on 'reply'.

I will keep an eye open for you.
