I feel gulity posting this. 5 weeks ago I got a high probability diagnosis of a Neuroblastoma. I had attended for numerous scans and there was a mass in the olfactory region (nasal cavity extending to brain). ENT and Neuro Team met had a MDT meeting and I had Biopsies 3 weeks ago. Preparing myself for a cancer diagnosis I received a call from my consultant and the tumour is benign. FABULOUS news hence why I feel so gulity blogging on here. However I'm really struggling to come to terms that I have a benign brain tumour, I'm scared to be on my own and just finding the whole thing overwhelming. I know I lucky but is there any help out there for me. X
Hi and welcome to the Mac Community.
Very concerning times fir you but great that the mass is benign- what a relief.
This like this can indeed mess with your brain, the majority of folks on the Community are living the cancer journey or supporting family on the cancer journey and I am sure that everyone will be happy for you.
The circumstances surrounding the lockdown will make life more challenging but taking with someone may help you a lot.
