These past months have been a nightmare after watching my son dying and not able to be with him because of this virus. Now my partner is failing very fast with the same disease and I am finding it very difficult to cope with the isolation and his illness. I have promised him I will not make him go to the hospital so I will be with him when he dies and I hope I can do this but watching him disappear in front of me is awful.
Hi and a very warm welcome to the online community
Can I offer my sincere condolences for the recent loss of your son.
It sounds like you're going through an incredibly hard time at the moment and I can hardly begin to imagine how tough it must be for you.
As the community is divided up into groups I'd like to suggest that you join the bereaved family and friends and the supporting someone with incurable cancer groups. In both of these groups you will find people who will be willing to share their experiences with you and give you support.
To join either or both of these groups just click on the links I've created and then choose 'join this group' on the pages that open. You can then introduce yourself and post questions after selecting 'start a discussion' and join in with existing conversations by clicking on 'reply'.
