I know everyone on here is as worried as me. I’ve been diagnosed and was told my results if biopsy would b available last Monday I would have an mri and my surgery would be scheduled to happen the next two weeks. I chased it on Wednesday. My mri is now on 9th April. Finding it very hard worrying about it spreading during the delay. Also having nobody to talk to. I keep hearing about asking your team. I don’t know if I have a team or a nurse as was told when I called mine is in isolation. Feeling lost and alone

  • Hi  and welcome to the Online Community, although I am sorry to see you finding us and so sorry to hear about your diagnosis - this must have been a big shock to you.

The NHS is indeed under a lot of pressure so some delays are going to happen.

A cancer diagnosis can bring a lot of stress, confusion and many questions but talking with people who are on the same journey can help a lot.

You don’t say what type of cancer so have a look through our various Cancer specific groups.

Posting in this group will open up your concerns to a wider group of people who know exactly what you are going through at the moment.

Follow the link I've created, join the best group then introduce yourself to the group and post questions after selecting 'start a discussion' and you can also join in with existing conversations by clicking on 'reply'.
