Hi and welcome to the online community
I'm very sorry to hear that your dad has recently been diagnosed with rectal cancer. It's always a stressful time for everyone involved when more scans need to be done to determine the best course of action.
It's natural that you're upset and not sure what to do. Can I recommend that you join the family and friends group which is a safe and supportive place to discuss your worries with others who will understand how you feel.
To join just click on the link I've created and then choose 'join this group' on the page that opens. You can then introduce yourself and post questions after selecting 'start a discussion' and join in with existing conversations by clicking on 'reply'.
Sending a supportive (((hug)))
