Hi and welcome to the Online Community, although I am sorry to see you finding us and so sorry to hear you are struggling with the oh so real post cancer challenges of life.
A cancer diagnosis can bring a lot of stress, confusion and many questions..... the post treatment part of the journey can be just as hard as the treatment it’s self but talking with people who are on the same journey can help a lot.
Can I direct you to this link to our very supportive Life after cancer group as this will open up your concerns to a wider audience who know exactly what you are going through at the moment.
To join just click on the link I've created and then choose 'join this group' on the page that opens. You can then introduce yourself and post questions after selecting 'start a discussion' and join in with existing conversations by clicking on 'reply'.
You will see this great paper used a lot in the group and it would be good if you have a look at it and use it to ask the Life after cancer group some questions...... we all understand as we have walked the walk.
Talking to people face to face can help a lot so check to see if you have any Local Macmillan Support in your area or a Maggie’s Centre as these folks are amazing.
You may want to put some information in your profile can help a lot Click here to see how to add details as this helps everyone to see a little about you
I was diagnosed with an incurable cancer over 20 years ago but did not let it define me and eventually I was told I was in remission just over 3 years ago.......can it come back? I know full well it can come back........ but I do not let this thought rule my life.
Get over and join the group and we can talk more about how best to live life post cancer ((hugs))
