Hello, I am brand new to this forum but thought would joining after finding a lump on my left testicle. After two ultrasounds I was told it was a tumour and following a blood test the consultant told me I have cancer markers and it’s unlikely now to be anything but testicular cancer.
I had an orchiectomy on Saturday morning to remove my left testicle and right now am resting at home feeling very delicate. Yesterday I received a letter confirming my CT scan has been booked on 5th March so now I am just waiting. It’s been a whirlwind 3 weeks but wanted to reach out. I am aware that the cure rate of this type of cancer is very good but at the same time this has all been quite a shock and mentally I never though things would get this far in regards to diagnosis, treatments etc.
