As title says, recent diagnosis! Thanks to a misspent youth sunbathing in foreign climes (most likely), I was diagnosed with a BCC on my nape and AK on my face.
BCC was successfully removed early Jan and scar healing beautifully. Now half way through Efudex treatment on my face. Looking a lot like a pepperoni pizza and, have to say, struggling with the discomfort now.
I’m very much looking forward to the last day of Efudex (8 days away and can’t come soon enough!) but thought I’d join up here and say hello to all you lovely people

I'm glad to hear that your BCC was successfully removed last month but sorry to hear the discomfort you're going through using Efudix on your AC.
I see that you have already found and joined the skin cancer group where you can chat to others who have had this treatment.
To get back to the group just click on the link I've created and you can then introduce yourself and post questions after selecting 'start a discussion' and join in with existing conversations by clicking on 'reply'.
When you have a minute it would be really useful if could pop something about your journey so far into your profile as it helps others when answering or looking for someone with a similar diagnosis. It also means that you don't have to keep repeating yourself. To do this click on your username and then select 'Edit Profile'.
