Hi all,
I went to my GP on Friday as was advised to do so by a pharmacist. Iv been having pain in my right breast plus nipple. And a few red little spots under the nipple however these are in no way irritable infact I noticed them a month ago but forgot they were there. Iv had pain in my shoulder, neck and upper back also on my right side, since the doctor appointment so am sure it's just viral. However the GP has referred me to our local breast care clinic for a mammogram and possibly an ultrasound. And well I'm an huge over thinker and was wondering if anyone has anything similar they have experienced and can shed some light. Google is not my friend right now. Also do mammograms hurt?

You're right that Google is not your friend but we've all done it. You go on looking for reassurance but come away more worried than you were before!
Could I recommend that you join the very friendly breast cancer group where you'll find plenty of people who will understand what you're going through at the moment. I've not recommended this group because I think you have cancer but because the people there are best placed to tell you what to expect from your visit to the clinic.
