Hi there
I was diagnosed with PC last week, not a good week...
But I was informed my Gleason reading was a 7 & had it been a 6 it would have been a watch & monitor scenario. I have a low PSA level & quite active & fit & as a result the prognosis is good. But I’ve just been to have an X Ray (radio) to confirm it haven’t spread to my bones. Is this the norm, quite anxious about getting this result! X
Hi and a very warm welcome to the online community
I'm sorry to see that you were diagnosed with prostate cancer last week and that you're anxiously waiting for the results of an x-ray.
I see that you have already found and joined the prostate cancer group and I'm sure if you post there you'll find plenty of people willing to share their experiences with you and give you support. Clicking on the link I've created will take you straight there.
When you have a minute it would be really useful if could pop something about your journey so far into your profile as it helps others when answering or looking for someone with a similar diagnosis. It also means that you don't have to keep repeating yourself. To do this click on your username and then select 'Edit Profile'. You can amend it at any time and if you're not sure what to write you can take a look at mine by clicking on my username.
