Newly Diagnosed Glioblastoma

Good Morning,

My father has been recently diagnosed with Glioblastoma. It’s all happened rather quickly.

I’m looking for a couple of different support groups - one to support my Dad with this type of cancer, the treatments, impact, etc. but also a group to support my Mum. (Who is unfortunately also having to deal with the passing of her Mum, just 3 months ago.)

Noticed you have already found and joined the GBM and Family & Friends groups - good move. Don't hesitate to post a new discussion intro messages and ask any questions you may have - we're all here to help if we can.

Have no idea if the cause of losing your nan was cancer related, but If it is of any help for your mum there is also a Bereaved Family & Friends Group (link) for those who have lost a loved one to cancer.

Has your dad been given a treatment plan as yet ?
