My husbands was diagnosed with triple hit high grade B cell NHL and is now just finishing his 3rd round of chemo, he has one more round of chemo to go. It has been a bit of a rollercoaster ride. Hope he is well enough to spend a few days at home before last round of chemo begins. Seems like our word has turned upside down and not being sure of what the future holds is terrifying.
Hi and welcome to the Online Community, although I am sorry to see you finding us and so sorry to hear about your husband.
I am Mike Thehighlander and I help out in our blood cancer groups. I was diagnosed with a rare T -Cell Lymphoma in 1999 and I am still around so be encouraged.
A blood cancer diagnosis can bring a lot of stress, confusion and many questions on all the family but talking with people who are on the same journey can help a lot.
Can I direct you to this link to our very supportive Diffuse large B-cell lymphoma group as this will open up your concerns to a wider audience who know exactly what you are going through at the moment.
Just follow the link I have created then hit the ‘Join This Group’ tab just under the main group name, then go to the 'Start a Discussion' tab and set up your very own Discussion and introduce yourself to the group and ask your questions.
I will keep an eye open for you ((hugs))
Hi dirtyoldtown
l was diagnosed about 2 years ago with high grade B cell NHL after having low grade for about 10
years. I had lung, liver, breastbone , and heart tumours plus spots all round the rib cage. To treat this I
had 6 round of Rchop plus 2 of high dose methotrexate all with no side affects. So they really can do
a good job of clearing your husbands tumours . I've been clear for just over a year now. I've always said it is so much harder for the people around you but try not to let it get you down. My thoughts are with you and your husband . Go to my profile for more info
