Hello, I have just joined today and I was diagnosed 10 days ago with incurable lung cancer which has also spread to my lymph nodes, I'm now just waiting to see my oncologist as I was informed that if chemo is successful it could extend my life by 1 year to 18 months, but waiting to see my oncologist is making me really nervous but I suppose that is just normal for this situation.

Hi and a very warm welcome to the online community
I'm very sorry to hear that you've recently been diagnosed with incurable lung cancer and it's no wonder that you're feeling nervous.
Could I suggest a few groups for you to join where you can benefit from the experiences of others and get support. The first are the lung cancer group and the secondary lymph node cancer group, where you can ask questions about treatments, etc, and the other is the living with incurable cancer group. Please don't be put off by the title of the second group as they're a very friendly group who talk about all sorts of things including how to enjoy life while living with cancer.
To join any or all of these groups just click on the links I've created and then choose 'join this group' on the pages that open. You can then introduce yourself and post your question after selecting 'start a discussion' and join in with existing conversations by clicking on 'reply'.
