Hi, I have had four cycles of EC for breast cancer and have had three out 12 cycles of weekly paclitaxel. A couple of my toes in my right foot are numb. I missed last weeks treatment to see if there was any improvement on the hospitals advice. My consultant has said if no improvement then I need to stop treatment as it will only get worse and could become permanent. If feeling does return then I can continue on a reduced dose. Has anyone had similar side effects and had to stop treatment?

  • Hi  and welcome to the Online Community, although I am sorry to see you finding us.

Can I direct you to this link to our very supportive Breast cancer group as this will open up your concerns to a wider audience who know exactly what you are going through at the moment.

Just follow the link I have created then hit the ‘Join This Group’ tab just under the main group name, then go to the 'Start a Discussion' tab and set up your very own Discussion and introduce yourself to the group and ask your questions.

    All the best.
