Hi
I have been very lucky indeed! I’m very sorry for people that have not been as lucky as myself! I had a lump and was attended to immediately thankfully and it was removed! I feel very blessed!
I have a question as I’m not aware of every kind of breast cancer. However, I’m doing my best to educate myself with this!
when I told a friend what I was going through.. she soon told me afterwards she was going through this problem as well. She has told me that she has to keep getting her “bloods done” I don’t understand what she means by this??!!! She says it makes her very ill when it’s done. I keep offering to go to the hospital with her for support but she won’t let me go with her. Can anyone explain this to me at all?
Hi @hoover1967, imagine your friend's referring to having blood tests done tho I'm surprised that would make her feel so ill.
Hi and welcome to the Community and good to hear that you are doing well.
As you have said there are many types of cancers and breast cancer is the same so some folks often need to be monitored with regular blood tests just to keep an eye on them.
I see you have joined the very supportive Breast cancer group - why not put up a post in the group and get some help for folks who are walking this path.
All the best.
Whatever cancer throws your way, we’re right there with you.
