Hi I'm new to this community I've not yet had a diagnosis just looking for some reassurance and support through my journey...I'm 38 years old with 4 children youngest being 4 ...it all started 8 months ago I started suffering with heavy periods with large clots that has got worse as the months have gone on . I have also been experiencing spotting very slight only there when I wipe like a salmon colour...doctor referred me to have a transvaginal scan second phase of period reading 19 mm thickness of the endometrial lining which is quite significant..doctor assured me there was no masses everywhere else was clear cervix ovaries etc just this thickening I've been referred to a gyne for further investigations I'm worrying myself sick that is the C Word I also been weeing loads with a heavy feeling in abdomen but was assured no mass was found I'm thinking all sorts ...I've googled worse thing I know and all it keeps coming up with is the C word ...sorry for the long winded message I'm not sure what my question is just wondering is it possible it could be something of then the C Word sorry it worries me ro say the word :( any advise would be appreciated. I just cant function and I'm worried that I cant get through all these tests...I suffer with depression so this has just added to it. Thank you in advance
Hi and welcome to the Online Community, although I am sorry to see you finding us and so sorry to hear that you are going through investigations and the C word is worrying you.
Diagnosing what is wrong is such a hard time but it needs to be done to get to the truth. Is it cancer? only the tests will say and lets look for this to turn out in a good way.
