Hi. I'm new here. I was diagnosed with triple negative breast cancer 10 years ago and following mastectomy, chemotherapy and radiotherapy everything was good. After a regular mammogram on my other breast, I was called back 2 days later for an ultrasound and core biopsy. 3 days later I was called for an appointment with my surgeon tomorrow. Everything has happened in 2 weeks and this has made me worry. I was asked if I wanted to be referred back to my original consultants which didn't fill me with hope.

Waiting for tests and results, as you know, is extremely stressful but lots of people find that chatting to others who are either going through the same thing or have been through it is really helpful. Could I suggest you join the breast cancer group where I'm sure you'll get plenty of support. I should add that I've recommended this group not because I think you have breast cancer but because they'll be others there who are at the same stage as you.
To join just click on the link I've created and then choose 'join this group' on the page that opens. You can then introduce yourself and post questions after selecting 'start a discussion' and join in with existing conversations by clicking on 'reply'.
When you feel up to it, it would be really useful if could pop something about your journey so far into your profile as it helps others when answering or looking for someone with a similar diagnosis. It also means that you don't have to keep repeating yourself. To do this click on your username and then select 'Edit Profile'.
