My son died in Aug 2017 during chemotherapy treatment for testicular cancer. Just so lost without him and I am finding it so difficult to understand what happened to him during his treatment. I am not sure where to find help.i thought if I spoke to an oncologist and asked all the questions that I feel were unanswered that this would help me.
Hello and welcome to the community at this difficult time for you and your family. We lost our son suddenly aged 38, eighteen months ago. Not from cancer. I am the one who had cancer so it does not seem fair. I only mention this to let you know that I know how you must be feeling. As regards finding out what happened to you son, you could contact PALS (Patient Advisory Liaison Service) at your local hospital. Click the link to find out more. They may be able to find out the circumstances surrounding your son. We also have a very supportive group here you may find it helpful to join Bereaved Family and Friends . There you will find others affected by the loss of loved ones and where you can share experiences and get help and support. My thoughts are with you and your family.
Whatever cancer throws your way, we’re right there with you.
We’re here to provide physical, financial and emotional support.
