Hi, is anybody receiving universal credits and also applied for carers allowance. I applied for carers allowance to look after my husband, I now get payments each week but it comes of our universal credits. What is the point of it??
Hi Ellielew, I have just read your post and it annoys me to think that you are being short changed when your husband is ill. Have you tried the Macmillan Benefits adviser's. I'm sure that Carers is Non-means tested and also he should be entitled to PIP.
Good Luck
