Hi, I have recently been diagnosed with breast cancer and am waiting for further tests in order to decide of the type of surgery I am to undergo in the next few weeks. At this time I have mixed feelings and mood swings dealing with the diagnosis and information, so have joined the online community for support.
Hi and a very warm welcome to the online community although I'm sorry you've had to find us.
I'm sorry to hear that you've recently been diagnosed with breast cancer and it's perfectly normal to feel as you do.
I see that you have found and joined the breast cancer group and I'm sure if you post there you'll find lots of people who will be only too happy to share their experiences with you and give you support. Clicking on the link I've created will take you directly there and you can introduce yourself and post a question after selecting 'start a discussion' and respond to existing posts by clicking on 'reply'.
When you have a minute it would be really useful if could pop something about your journey so far into your profile as it helps others when answering or looking for someone with a similar diagnosis. It also means that you don't have to keep repeating yourself. To do this click on your username and then select 'Edit Profile'. You can amend it at any time and if you're not sure what to write you can take a look at mine by clicking on my username.
