I was diagnosed with breast cancer last Tues and thus has come as a total shock to me as the way it happened is so weird to me over just one day my boob completely changed shape so I knew something was wrong, I've been told I need a mastectomy but its treatable with chemo and radiotherapy. My days are very up and down as I suffer badly with anxiety so this is stuff for me . Has anyone had a experience similar to mine please.

Hi, I was also diagnosed with breast cancer this week and can understand how you are feeling. At the moment I am having further tests to determine the surgery options. I also have other anxiety issues and this news certainly doesn't help but I am trying to stay positive and use whatever support is available.
Hi Penny, I'm so sorry to hear your news to what a shock for us both, someone I know warned me that they might tell me on the day of my first appointment however I just wasn't prepared for it at all and ended up going straight to my GP for something to calm me down as like you I've suffered Deb anxiety for yrs. Probably like you I feel scared and very alone, I go back on Friday and I'm guessing they will give me a date for my surgery but I'm absolutely dreading it as I don't cooe very well. I hope you're feeling a bit better today. Regards julie.
