Hi. I have had a lump in my submandibular gland for about 3 years I have had a cough for 6 weeks went to get it checked. And have an urgent ultrasound on Tuesday. I am so worried that if it is this it could have spread.
Will i I have to wait for results or will they give me a clue there ?
i am 33 and a few years back had a flat mole removed and checked which was fine
The lump is attached to my skin and nerves and pulling in my neck skin
Hi and welcome to the online community
Waiting to find out what might be wrong with you is very hard and it's natural to be worried. Could I suggest that you join the head and neck cancer group where you can discuss your worries and ask questions. My suggestion for you to join this group is not because I think you have some type of cancer but because the people over there will be best placed to answer your questions about how quickly you're likely to get your results, etc.
To join just click on the link I've created and then choose 'join this group' on the page that opens. You can then introduce yourself or post a question after selecting 'start a discussion' and join in with existing conversations by clicking on 'reply'.
