Hello,
Guess it’s best to start from when I thought something wasn’t right so here goes! About 3 months ago now I got a sharp pain in my left breast which made me yell out in pain like a sudden tearing pain. Then a red patch appeared over where the pain started, I called out of hours and got seen but she couldn’t feel anything. I then just used paracetamol to ease the pain for a week or so then I checked and felt an olive sized lump just under the nipple. No pain at all as it vanished but now a lump so I called the gp and got seen she said it felt like a cyst or lipoma which eased my worries, she referred me to the screening clinic and I got seen 3rd October.
They gave me an ultrasound and could clearly see a lump but couldn’t tell me what it was, she said it wasn’t a cyst or fatty tissue but could be a lymph node which was uncommon to have one there. 2 doctors and both didn’t know what it was!! She was dithering to give me a biopsy but then decided against it. Fast track to now which is 11 days later and I now have two lumps and significant dimples over the lumps and I’m starting to panic! I have an appointment next Wednesday at 11:15 to be seen at the screening clinic but can anyone help with what it sounds like or help or anything? I wish they had just done the biopsy because now so much has changed and the pain is back :(
Top photo is last Friday 11th and bottom is tonight’s 14th showing the change in the dimples.
Hi and welcome to the online community
It's natural to be worried and scared about changes you have noticed but I'm sure if you join the breast cancer group you'll get lots of support. My suggestion to join this group isn't because I think you have cancer but because there will be lots of ladies there who will understand what you're going through at the moment.
To join just click on the link I've created and then choose 'join this group' on the page that opens. You could then copy and paste your introduction from here into a new post after selecting 'start a discussion'.
