I have read the opinions of some people in this situation but they all did the surgery first then radiotherapy !! I would like to make the best decision regarding the treatment but the doctors here are very careful! could you direct me to a clinic, doctor from anywhere, who could do what's best in this situation? thank you and wish you much health !!
Hi and welcome to the online community
I'm sorry to hear that your mother has recently been diagnosed with vulva cancer and it's perfectly normal that you want to make sure that she has the best treatment possible.
Could I suggest that you join the vulva cancer group where you'll be able to ask questions and share experiences with others who have this type of cancer. You will need to bear in mind though that as this is a UK site the treatment here might not be the same as that in Romania.
To join just click on the link I've created and then choose 'join this group' on the page that opens. You can then introduce yourself or post a question after selecting 'start a discussion' and join in with existing conversations by clicking on 'reply'.
I noticed that you have also posted a question in ask a nurse and don't know if you've seen the reply from Fiona yet. If not clicking on this link will take you there.
When you have a minute it would be really useful if could pop something about your mother's journey so far into your profile as it helps others when answering or looking for someone with a similar diagnosis. It also means that you don't have to keep repeating yourself. To do this click on your username and then select 'Edit Profile'. You can amend it at any time and if you're not sure what to write you can take a look at mine by clicking on my username.
