Hi , I’ve just read through your profile and other post, and glad that it looks like a visit to a Maggies centre might seem doable for you to see one of their psychologists. I noticed that you said you are finding it difficult to talk face to face with people at the moment so I wondered if the group emotional issues on her might help a little, I’ve put the link in below, the group can’t offer the counselling or emotional support that you might need but might be a start to helping get those feeling out.

Hi there,
I visited Maggie's today and it was a great help. I typed my story and current concerns up and gave it to the specialist nurse to read as I knew It would take me ages to be able to get through it if at all. I'm thinking of accessing their mindfulness group and I am on the wait list for some one to one support. Feeling a bit more positive now.

Well done Cazza, a big but positive step to take.
They do run some very helpful courses and the more you go, even just to sit at the ‘table’ with a coffee the more support you will get and indeed be able to give to others who come in for that first time with all the emotions of being diagnosed for the first time.
