Hey all,
i was diagnosed with lymphoma in July, started my 2nd cycle today and the tingling fingers are driving me mad!! I'm stage 4 renal failure also so have a lot going on at the moment. I haven’t been to any support groups yet as it’s all a bit overwhelming, any recommendations for the complimentary treatments, I’d be going to St Luke’s in Guildford for them.
Thanks peeps.
Hi Jayne and welcome to the Online Community, although I am sorry to see you finding us.
I am Mike Thehighlander and I help out around our various Lymphoma groups.
A cancer diagnosis can bring a lot of stress, confusion and questions but talking with people who are on the same journey as you can help.
I see that you have found our Hodgkin's Lymphoma group and indeed put up your first post - well done.
I have no experience with any complementary therapy so another question to add to your list for the group. But I do recommend that you clear anything you look at having with your team.
Peripheral Neuropathy can indeed drive you mad...... as my treatment lasted a few years so I sort of got used to it but now mostly clear. I had two little rugby balls that I used to exercise my fingers, stretching then during the day. This helped keep the blood flowing and did help.
((hugs))
Whatever cancer throws your way, we’re right there with you.
