My regular pharmacy - and others locally - cannot obtain cyproterone, citing ‘production problems’, and that’s all they can tell me.
I take 50mg daily, and my specialist nurse has suggested that for the moment, I take that dose every other day, and see what happens.
Does anyone have any information about the shortage and whether it will end soon? I am worried.
Hi and welcome to the online community
I see from your profile that you're taking cyproterone after having prostate cancer. There may be other men in the prostate cancer group who can help with your question, if they're taking this drug, so I'd recommend that you join that group.
To join just click on the link I've created and then choose 'join this group' on the page that opens. You can then introduce yourself and post your question after selecting 'start a discussion' and join in with existing conversations by clicking on 'reply'.
