Evening Donna /
Warm welcome to the Mac Community, although so sorry to see you hear and reading about your shock diagnosis.
Certainly unnerving when you find not only you have breast cancer but that it wasn't found earlier. We always say 50 is too late it should be at least 45 - some ladies here are even under 30
Spread to bone is one of the most common types to treat with bone strengthening meds but I'm assuming they will offer you surgery then chemo and herceptin at first.
Have you been given a treatment plan as yet ? My wife was diagnosed with HER2+ BC in 2012 luckily hers was found fairly early but there are lots of ladies here who have been living with breast cancer with bone spread for many years.
There are a couple of groups here you could join - The Main Breast Group and there is also a Secondary Breast Group. To check out and join either or both, just click / tap the coloured text links.
Hope this is of some help to get you settled in and gain support and have any questions answered by those who have been there.
Take care, G n' J
