I have had Chemotherapy for Prostate cancer, the last treatment was 4 months ago, and I am just starting having Radiotherapy. My partner has started, a month ago, to notice an odour which she thought was due to the chemo, but now thinks it is when I sweat, sweats due to the hormone injections, I have had injections for 9 months. Sometimes I sweat hourly sometimes every two hours or a little longer and my partner has noticed the smell gets stronger after each sweat. Has anyone had this experience? Thank you so much x
Hi Bodcat, why don't you try and ask an expert, the nurse is really on the ball, with her info. I had my 8 th chemo today. 2 more to go, then I might be going on radiotherapy. I have, prostate cancer. Which has spread to my bones, and lymph nodes, according to my Oncoligist. How did you feel after the RT. ?. Any details you want to pass on. Try asking the expert mate. Ok.

Hi and a very warm welcome to the online community
I see that Malcolm has made a good suggestion of putting your question in the ask a nurse section. Clicking on the link I've created will take you directly there if that was something that you wanted to do.
It might also help to join and post in the prostate cancer group where you can benefit from the experiences of others with this type of cancer as well as give and receive support.
To join just click on the link I've created and then choose 'join this group' on the page that opens. You can then introduce yourself or post a question after selecting 'start a discussion' and join in with existing conversations by clicking on 'reply'.
When you have a minute it would be really useful if could pop something about your journey so far into your profile as it helps others when answering or looking for someone with a similar diagnosis. It also means that you don't have to keep repeating yourself. To do this click on your username and then select 'Edit Profile'. You can amend it at any time and if you're not sure what to write you can take a look at mine by clicking on my username.
