Hi Cc54,  I have to be honest with you,  I am not frightened, but very concerned, about my prostate cancer,, which I was diagnosed with 14 months ago,.  It blew my socks, I was devastated, but, you have to get on with it.  Did you or have you anyone close, family, friends, hubby someone like that. A trouble shared is a trouble halved.  Please remember that. You have friends on this wonderful, Macmillan Web Site.  They are such a helpful bunch on here, the one thing I can tell you is, YOUR, NOT, ALONE, on here, there are lots of us, going through, and dealing with, the same type of thing. Everyone is very nice, they know what you are going through, because they have as well.  There are helpful contact numbers to assist you to help put your mind in an easier position.  Welcome to Macmillan,  come and let  them help you.

I did, best thing I could have done.

    Good luck.

    Best regards

    Hi

Welcome to the club no one wants to join.... Pleased to see you found us though.

It is hard coming to terms with the 'new you' and having every twinge or headache setting off alarm bells about recurrence.

What helped us (and many others here post treatment) is this fairly long read. It deals with all the reasons behind feeling a little lost and bewildered when treatment ends and you find yourself struggling to figure out what the heck just happened and worrying for the future.
